You’re a Colorado student aspiring to a career in journalism or public relations. You’re proud of your work, but you need expert advice on how to present it effectively and land a job.

If so, join us April 3 as the Society of Professional Journalists Colorado Professional Chapter and the Denver Press Club present our Spring Portfolio Review.

An expert panel of pros in broadcast, print and online journalism as well as public relations will be on hand to review your résumé and portfolio of work. Our reviewers will include representatives of the Associated Press, Colorado Public Radio, the Denver Gazette, Denverite, Denver7 and the Aurora Sentinel. Students will get a 15-minute slot with the reviewer of their choice.

We’re looking forward to engaging with students who aspire to be professional communicators across many fields, making sure the next generation is set up to succeed.

Where: The Denver Press Club, 1330 Glenarm Place. Metered parking is on the street, a pay lot is next door, and the free RTD 16th Street shuttle is two blocks away.
