Housing first? Tougher enforcement? Something else entirely?
There are no easy answers to homelessness. But there are plenty of strong opinions.
On Oct. 21, join the Colorado Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and The Denver Press Club for “Challenging Perspectives,” a candid conversation about policy addressing homelessness, support for people experiencing homelessness, public safety, housing and the competing priorities facing the Front Range.
Our panelists will talk about what Colorado is getting right, what it’s getting wrong and what should happen next.
Panelists:
- Mike Coffman, mayor of Aurora.
- Cathy Alderman, Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.
- Ryan Ertman, Downtown Denver Partnership.
